The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated CAMM2 Data Manager to work on one of the most powerful and exciting engine platforms in the defence sector – the legendary F/A 18 Super Hornet’s F414 engine. Complimenting the F35, the Super Hornet continues to be the main strike fighter in the RAAF. Your duties include:
- Provide assigned configuration management services for internal and external customers
- Provide CAMM2 Data Management and Maintenance Control Services for F414 and ADOUR engines
- First point of contact for troubleshooting for CAMM2 issues for operations
- Maintain Regulatory Compliance across Asset Management and Maintenance Control
- Managing maintenance policy under direction from AEO and ensuring it is authorised and valid
- Data Integrity of Authorised Maintenance Documentation (AMD)
- To optimise productivity through efficient maintenance work instructions.
- To identify areas for continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness to reduce the cost base across the maintenance operations.
- Develop and maintain user-friendly F414 and ADOUR engines maintenance work instructions utilizing industry best practices, mistake proofing, lessons learned and feedback from the depot shop floor.
- Allocation of authorisations within a technical operational area, working with supervisor to ascertain appropriate authorisations.
- Review technical data changes/revisions and implement necessary changes in work instruction master data; identify and report any changes that affect delivery schedule.
- Read and interpret Technical Procedures, Data and Manuals as necessary.
- Develop and utilize robust Standard Work and desk procedures for maintenance processes.
- Work with the Ops Manager to maintain configuration control and reporting of engine data to ensure engine or module records are complete and accurate.
- Train, mentor, and coach other team members in CAMM2 related matters.
- Participate in or lead teams reviewing, investigating, and reporting on maintenance or quality escapes.
- Maintain productive customer relationships and create solutions that bring value to our customers and to TAE.
- Keep abreast of industry and professional knowledge are kept current and well maintained through professional development.
Essential
- Qualified CAMM2 Data Manager who has completed Data Manager course
- Experience with, ADF aircraft or aeronautical product within a maintenance environment
- Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated experience managing Authorized Maintenance Documentation (AMD) either paper based or Electronic.
- Ability to manage varied workload, balancing scheduled tasks with requests of assistance from the team, which may have short deadlines.
- Must meet security requirements for the role and the Australian Government.
Desirable
- Experience in an Aerospace/propulsion or mechanical/maintenance MRO Operations environment.
- The ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision
