Australian citizenship is required.Ideal candidates will have experience in advertising, media buying, public relations, and strategic communications.My client's team is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated APS6 Campaign Officer. There are 2 positions available! The team is responsible for Australian Government campaign development and delivery, communication strategy development, advertising, implementation and evaluation, public relations and market research.Under supervision, the successful applicant will:
- Provide high level strategic communication advice to a range of stakeholders, including throughout all stages of the campaign process.
- Plan and deliver communication activities which support the objectives of client areas.
- Manage procurement and contract management for communication consultants involved in the development of campaigns or communication activities.
- Draft a range of communication documents and strategies, briefs, reports, talking points and complex correspondence.
- Develop highly targeted content and consumer resources for various communication channels.
- Provide high quality client service and contribute specialist advice and expertise to policy areas to meet their program objectives.
- Review, interpret and apply findings from market research to support communication and campaign strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues in market research, special audiences, web, social media and strategic communication teams to manage and implement communication products across multiple channels.
- Manage overall campaign finances and budget.
- Supervise staff.
- Strong background in the end-to-end delivery of government advertising campaigns or strategic communications.
