We are now looking for a commission-only Broker to join our team and uphold our high standard of service.
Duties
As a Mortgage Broker at Share Capital, you will be part of a growing team. You will be equipped with all the necessary support and tools to succeed, covering technology, marketing, and ongoing business coaching.
As a Broker, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting with clients to understand their financial circumstances, discussing their needs, and recommending suitable mortgage options.
- Assessing and evaluating loan options for clients based on their credit history, income, and debt-to-income ratio.
- Liaising with lenders to secure the best mortgage terms and rates for clients.
- Providing comprehensive financial advice throughout the mortgage process, including details on down payments, closing costs, and repayment terms.
- Ensuring adherence to all federal and state regulations, including consumer protection laws.
- Maintaining and nurturing relationships with both clients and lenders to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
Skills and Experience
Consider applying if you have the following:
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or a Diploma.
- Experience in managing existing client and referral relationships, whether as a Banker or a Broker.
- Ability to self-generate business through your own network; some leads will also be provided.
- Compliance with responsible lending obligations and BID requirements.
