About the Role:
We are looking for an individual to be part of the Rateseeker family.
As a Servicing Mortgage Broker, you'll be at the forefront of assisting our existing clients with their mortgage needs, guiding them from application to settlement. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while enjoying a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Our goal is to help grow the individual from a Servicing Mortgage Broker to a Standalone Mortgage Broker with your own portfolio of clients to manage.
This opportunity allows to you build a business inside a business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their unique financial goals and needs.
- Educate clients on various mortgage products, interest rates, and terms, ensuring they make informed decisions.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, gathering necessary documentation and providing ongoing support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processing of mortgage applications.
- Build and maintain relationships with accountants, financial planners, and other referral partners to generate leads and referrals.

What we are looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the mortgage broking or lending industry (preferred)
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (minimum qualification required).
- Proven ability to guide customers through the lending journey and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong understanding of residential lending processes across various lenders.
- Proficiency in reading financial documents, structuring loans, and determining servicing.
- Experience dealing with complex and challenging deals, including trusts, self-employed individuals, SMSFs, and commercial properties (desired but not mandatory).
- Strong team and individual work ethics (must have)
Note: Lending specialists working with Banks/Credit Unions who are looking to build their career in broking are welcome to apply.
