About the Role
Proactively lead and support Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities that guide development and management of a portfolio of solutions, provide architectural and strategic advice to projects to support service delivery across Council and enable business to achieve its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively lead and support Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions.
- Capture and apply concepts of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams and business processes and understand their importance to enterprise architecture.
- Create deliverables for managing SCC’s portfolio of ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ solutions to enable and drive targeted business outcomes.
- Provide deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT assets.
- Define the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
The role is currently based in Nambour but will be relocated to Maroochydore upon completion of Sunshine Coast City Hall.
About you
- You will have completed a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (or other recognised relevant degree) and/or substantial proven relevant industry experience.
- You will have experience in improving enterprise and program architecture repository and the refinement of principles, standards, and guidelines. Skilled in architectural modelling and tools.
- You will have experience in design, specification, problem solving and analytical skills.
- You will have proven ability to package a program of work from various strategies, architecture, research, initiatives, and new policy proposals.
- You will demonstrate an understanding of current and emerging issues and opportunities in relation to ICT and technology within both the government environment and the IT industry. Includes strong digital channel experience.
