Why Your Role Matters:
The Business Developer plays a crucial role in driving the success of projects within the Capability Systems Centre, contributing to its mission and strategic objectives while maintaining trust, confidentiality, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
The Business Developer will:
- Generate, initiate and plan projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee project development and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure quality and alignment with strategic direction.
- Handle sensitive information with trust and security clearance.
Who You Are:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- advanced project management experience, including comprehensive knowledge of project lifecycle and development of plans, objectives, and documentation.
- strong consultation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a track record of effectively engaging diverse stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with proactive initiative and flexibility in devising robust solutions.
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail in deliverables, including the ability to create unit-level procedures and guidelines.

Eligibility:

The successful candidate will be required to work from the UNSW Canberra campus. To be successful you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. UNSW is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
