Our home in Killara NSW 2071 is currently looking for a skilled Care Manager to join the team, or a highly experienced Registered Nurse looking for their next challenge.

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will be 1 of 2 Care Managers responsible for the clinical bottom line of this 105-bed luxury home. Your role is well resourced, with additional support from the the Quality & Education Coordinator, the Compliance Manager, the Nurse Educator, the COO and several other support structures. With above industry staffing ratios, good processes and policies in place, as well as modern technology in place, your role has all the recipe for success!!
Care Managersare responsible for mentoring and managing a team of Registered Nurses and other clinical staff. You will be the point of expertise and will manage staff within your scope such as RNs, ENs & AINs, and will be responsible for ensuring that our Residents receive the highest quality of care and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and mentoring RNs and other clinical staff
- Ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care and service
- Providing expert advice and guidance on clinical matters
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote best practice within the facility
- Liaising with external stakeholders and health professionals
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in nursing
- Experience in a similar role within a RACF
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A leader in the accreditation processes, Aged Care Codes of Conduct, WHS, Infection Control, Compliant Management, SIRS Reporting, Restrictive Practices, and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Current AHPRA registration, Covid and flu vaccine, Police Check and NDIS Worker Clearance.
