Registered nurse with leadership experience as a Care Manager to join a Residential Aged Care regional.

Your new role
- Responsible for a large residential service for providing high quality clinical care to residents within the guidelines of the organisation.
- Leading a team of registered nurses, enroled nurses, care service employees.
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans.
- Ensure that all incidents, complaints, breaches of professional conduct or minor misdemeanours are reported.
- Maintain documentation standards.
- Expenditure is within the budget for items within the scope of the position.
- Support and promote a culture that promotes wellbeing, safety and individual and team accountability through effective hazard identification and risk management.
- Any other duties as reasonably requested.
What you'll need to succeed
- Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience of supervising and leading staff.
- Excellent understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and experience in managing compliance.
- Demonstrated high level of analytical, written and verbal skills.
- Competence in financial management includes experience in managing claims for aged care subsidies and funding (ACFI).
- Ability to work well within a team and to liaise closely on key decisions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence people
- Excellent computer skills
