About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our rapidly expanding team as a Full Time Care Organiser based in our Swan Hill office.  

The primary purpose of the position is to manage and to support the effective delivery of Uniting AgeWell Home Care programs. The role focuses on: 

• To participate in the recruitment and orientation of Home Care Workers and Activity Workers, as required.
• Assist with interviews, complete reference checks and induct new staff members.
• Customer service, be the key contact for client enquiries / complaints  both by phone and in person.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and/or their carers to ensure care needs are being provided
• Be responsible for administrative duties including records management, monthly reporting and document control
• Service Coordination, monitor and manage group email inboxes, liaising with external service providers 
• Provide day to day support of home care workers and document phone calls and/or communication relating to scheduling and service provisions.

• Previous administrative experience in in-home support services rostering/scheduling 
• Proven written and verbal communication skills

• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care

• A current Working With Children’s card
• Current and required flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
• Have Australian working rights 
• Are able to pass a national police clearance and/or NDIS clearance
