About the role
This part time (Monday - Friday; 9 am - 3pm) position will see you working in the Hume Region of Uniting AgeWell's network based out of our Wangaratta office. Utilising your astute customer centric skillset, you will work closely with clients, families, and your team to provide high quality care services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Service plan development and ongoing reviews
- Initial engagement with perspective clients
- Annual review of existing client services
- Monitor and managing group email inboxes, incoming calls and walk in clients and community members
- Ensure that client finance information is managed in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure that the administrative requirements of the program are maintained in accordance with Departmental and organisational requirements
About you

- Great customer service skills which are friendly and professional and are known for your caring and compassionate nature
- Ability to build rapport, develop and maintain relationships with clients and/or their carers to ensure care needs are being provided
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to your work
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and varied environment and have can easily multi-task between tasks
- Are highly organised with strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and excellent time management
- Previous administrative experience in Community Services or the Aged Care Sector (desirable)
- Experience and knowledge in Commonwealth Supported Home Care Packages (desirable)
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care
- A current Working With Children’s card
- Current and required flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Have Australian working rights
- Are able to pass a national police clearance and/or NDIS clearance
