Come and join our growing team in QLD where we are currently recruiting for Career Coaches in Ipswich, Chermside, and Caboolture, to provide innovative employment supports to persons with disability.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Employment Pathways - QLD as a Career Coach you will be supporting participants to develop capacity and a pathway to employment through the application of ‘customised employment’ model of service. This entails working closely with people with disability to discover and explore their employment aspirations whilst building foundations skills to support their employment journey.
This rewarding role will suit someone who is highly motivated, has the ability to problem solve and is able to understand and respond to local community needs.

About you – you will have:
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships using problem solving, consultation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and make informed decisions under pressure.
- High level of written communication skills.
What is essential?
- The ability to travel within the community to provide support as required
Highly Desirable
- An appropriate Certificate level qualification e.g. Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment, which is recognised by and is relevant to the work required to beperformed, or experience deemed to be equivalent[JN1] [GD2]
Other Requirements
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (must be maintained)
- A current Working with Children Check (must be maintained)
- A current national Police Check (must be maintained)
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence (must be maintained)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
