Project Coordinator

• Part time 0.8FTE, fixed-term role until 30 April 2026 with the Daffodil Centre in the University of Sydney, located at Moore College Newtown
• Fantastic appointment opportunity as a Project Coordinator to support the National Cervical Cancer Treatment Guidelines project
• Base Salary $95,860 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity 

The Daffodil Centre is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team focused on developing Australian evidence-based treatment guidelines for cervical cancer.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the creation of these inaugural guidelines, ensuring that the project is delivered to the contract timeline, and is continuously tracked against key contract milestones.  Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple institutions, and supporting the delivery of high-quality cervical cancer treatment guidelines to the contract deadlines. Your key responsibilities will be to: 

• perform and provide operational and administrative project coordination support to assist with planning, establishing, and achieving project goals 
• manage subcontracts and reporting across the project
• manage relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders
• provide secretariat support at collaborative/project meetings including scheduling meetings, take minutes/task lists and follow-up on arising actions.
• oversee the day-to-day operations of the project
• lead efficient processes to coordinate correspondence between all stakeholders
• assist with technical content revision through supporting general literature reviews, and drafting content for senior team member review
• develop and lead efficient processes to manage detailed guidelines content
• support an IT team to upload high quality content onto an online guidelines platform, ensuring accuracy and appropriate version control
• work effectively with software applications including MS365 Suite and communication tools and effectively manage version control amongst shared documents
• ensure timely completion and submission of progress reports to the Funder. 

About you 

• bachelor's degree in public health or research/ medical related area, and/or equivalent work experience
• proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a health-related area
• demonstrated superior organizational and communication (both written and oral) skills, including proven ability to manage projects and prioritize and organize own workload.
• ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments and drive collaborative efforts towards project goals
• proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team; taking initiative in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
• very high level of attention to detail
• experience in stakeholder management
