The Category Management & Process Assistant is a key role within our Wholesale Health & Beauty Category team, with two important focus areas; reviewing, capturing & improving our Category Management processes and assisting the Category Management team with maintaining their operating rhythm.
Day-to-day, you will support the Head of Category Management for Health & Beauty categories, including the planning and coordinating of team priorities & work-streams within the overall Category Management value stream. You will make a meaningful impact by driving process efficiency and innovation, and by reviewing and ensuring key processes are correctly documented and supporting the delivery of key business projects & initiatives, e.g., Supplier Engagement communications & initiatives, Category Plans, Supplier Joint Business Plans, and Monthly Collaboration meetings.
You will also:
- Lead cross-functional projects to implement innovative ways of working, process enhancements, and system changes to unlock growth opportunities and drive efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to review, refine, and implement Category Management processes, fostering a culture of continual improvement.
- Develop and enforce process governance to monitor and report on process compliance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs to equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge in Category Management principles and processes.
- Work closely with the Head of Wholesale Health & Beauty to spearhead continual improvement and supplier engagement initiatives.

What you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Retail, complemented by sound experience in formulating and communicating business strategies and processes.
- Experience in a similar role, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of facilitating cross-functional teams to achieve alignment and shared goals utilising project management disciplines.
- Superior presentation and facilitation skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to derive insights from data and drive fact-based decision-making.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver exceptional results within specified timeframes.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly PowerPoint and common systems.
