This is a critical role for the Nexba business. It will own the strategy, execution and ROI of the Instore/Online MarketingBudget and ensure it aligns with strategic goals, customer and brandobjectives.
Beaccountable for the development of the strategy, implementation of the go tomarket plan and execution of the Nexba marketing agenda in collaboration withthe Sales Director, Marketing Director and other cross functional roles
We are seeking a commercially savvy and proactive individualthat will be actively involved in category and market analysis, commercialmodelling and building Nexba brand awareness and success across Grocery,Independent, Alternative and Convenience channels.
o Bachelor Degree –Marketing/Commerce or retailed discipline is desirable
o 2+year’s category management experience: Ideally within FMCG
o Experience with scan data Quantium,Coles Synergy, IRI
o Advanced Excel and Power Point
o Promotion and/or range modelling
o Identify the category customers,the category growth opportunities and therefore the target audience
o Identify relevant innovation fornpd
o Understanding customer centricbusiness model and how to build strategy which deliver in grocery
o Creating relevant segmentation
o Well versed in consumer insightsrelating to functional beverages or functional food & what this means forour customers
o Can develop actionable insightsand bring them to life through a compelling marketing strategy
o Must be able to get their handsdirty and do the work as well as strategy - can think strategically but canexecute tactically
o You must not rely on agencies tosolve the problem or do the work; must be willing to execute the plans

· Key Responsibilities:

· Trade Marketing Management-Coordinate and manage Nexba Trade Marketing budget across key retail customersE-Commerce channels to build Nexba brand awareness and ensure positive ROIthrough increased sales and penetration.
· Range Reviews- Lead range reviewsfor the portfolio, as well as support smaller range reviews where necessary.Develop detailed plans for range reviews and layouts, with timely communicationand involvement of all stakeholders.

· Field Team Engagement- Leadengagement with outsourced field sales team to increase Nexba distribution andbrand awareness across national independent stores. This will involve creatingand presenting Nexba comms and trade presenters to the Field Sales Team.
· Profitability Analysis- buildingstatistical modelling tools to determine the mutually commercial viability ofdifferent pricing strategies for both Nexba and our key retail customers.
· Promotional/Market Analysis-Present weekly sales and market performance reports to management team toidentify the success of key brand and promotional strategies, changing trendsand key competitor market activity updates.
· Category Reporting- UtilizingIRI/Synergy Databases to present relevant category insights, such as brandawareness and loyalty, pricing, distribution and promotional activity to informour key Nexba brands strategies.
· New Product Development-responsible for undertaking market research during annual NPD planningprocesses to identify relevant categories to enter, how far the brand canstretch and pack price entry strategy to relevant categories. Also responsiblefor regularly critically assessing our existing range to ensure relevancy inmarket.
