- Qualified Catering Officers holding a Cookery Trade Certificate or TAFE Commercial Certificate may be assessed at a Level 4 capacity with a base pay of $71,812.

About the role
The Catering Officer / Cook position provides an opportunity to showcase your cooking, teamwork, and customer service skills in a fun and energetic environment. The lifestyle-friendly hours are rare in the hospitality industry in addition to the generous Office of Sport leave entitlements.
The Catering Officer / Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all meals for the visitors participating in the Centre?s various sport and active recreation programs.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Ability to prepare and cook high quality meals to suit a variety of clients and their dietary requirements.
- Experience undertaking stock control in the kitchen, order, check and monitor goods from suppliers and maintain kitchen equipment and food storage rooms in compliance with hygiene and food handling safety regulations.
- Willingness to work on a rostered basis: the shift hours for this role will vary from 6am to 2:30pm, 9am to 5pm and 11am to 7.30pm.
