Administration Officer - Central Coast
We are a modern and thriving retail business in Tuggerah on the Central Coast, being long established and where a positive working environment is legendary. Our product range includes cake decorating supplies, kitchenware, commercial catering equipment, cleaning supplies and associated consumables.
We have a role for an active individual ready to handle the broad spectrum of issues present in a busy small business.
Key areas of responsibility will include -
- Administration including control of on-line orders, stock control, invoicing
- Banking tasks within Quickbooks and reconciling of accounts
- Capability to update website content
- Sales support for both our retail stores, telephone and on-line sales

Office admin tasks and all aspects of a retail operation are part of the role.
Applicants should have business acumen with strong IT skills, but also sales and marketing aptitude with capability to continue development of our online sales channels and enhance our social media marketing. Content management of our websites is expected, including sourcing/creating social media content.
Front of house sales during peak hours means presentation and confident cheerful personality will be important.

Candidates will be considered who preferably meet the following requirements:
- some tertiary education, preferably business administration qualification
- strong IT skills, Shopify, Quickbooks or equivalent
- Good mathematical skills for bank reconciliations, etc.
- sales and marketing aptitude
- an interest in all things food and not afraid of working towards multiple goals.
- work well independently and in a team
- strong telephone manner
- be physically able to work in a shop and warehouse and able to move stock up and down stairs when needed
- problem solve and work well under pressure
- pro-active, ability to work unsupervised
We envisage the position as part-time, initially 3 days with days/hours to be negotiated. The role is guaranteed to be diverse, challenging and not boring. You will be joining a great team with a wide spread of skills.
