The Position
The position involves the delivery of a highly effective, efficient and responsive CCTV monitoring, maintenance and reporting service for AlburyCity’s CCTV networks. The position will have a strong focus on supporting the NSW Police for the purpose of increasing community safety throughout the Albury Local Government Area.

Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Criminology or other qualifications and relevant work experience
- Experience working with CCTV systems
- NSW Security Licence Class 1E - Monitoring Centre Operator (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Relevant work experience supporting and consulting with the NSW Police Force
- Ability to drive, manoeuvre and park a trailer
- To develop, implement, monitor and evaluate reports, policies, strategies and procedures in relation to AlburyCity’s CCTV networks.
- To provide a highly effective, efficient and responsive CCTV monitoring and reporting system for Council’s CCTV networks in support of the NSW Police Force and other investigative purposes.
- To work in collaboration with members of the Community Safety Team, including other internal and external stakeholders to identify future needs for the implementation of CCTV networks.
- To manage and review expenditure of CCTV operations.
- To manage the deployment of Council’s CCTV Mobile Trailer and other CCTV networks across Albury.
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
