Cellar Hand / Forklift Driver

We have multiple opportunities for Cellar Hand's/Forklift Drivers for the Vintage Season starting ASAP at a popular winery, this business is an industry leading Australian global winemaking business located in the Barossa Valley. Duties Include:Implement and maintain compliance with the food safety and quality management system by reporting food safety hazards and quality problems as they ariseMaintain product quality throughout all cellar operationsSupport and maintain compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirementsWork with the cellar and with the winemaking team to ensure product quality and production schedules are metTo perform, continually develop and enhance cellar practices to optimise equipment, systems and personal effectivenessEnsure all cellar operation records are filled out correctly and in full as a true representation of the operations completedWhat you need:We are searching for people who are motivated, reliable, team-oriented and passionate about a career in the wine industry. Computer literateLogical thinking and strong problem-solving skillsEffective communication skillsAbility to prioritise tasksExperience working in the agriculture/wine industry is an advantage, but not essentialForklift license Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgAbility to pass a pre-employment and drug & alcohol testingAbility to work 12 hour shifts, 6 days per week Please note that the vintage period will be January-May weather dependent.
