$41.75ph+ super (rate includes 25% casual loading)
An exciting opportunity has opened up at Rural City of Wangaratta for the role of Cemetery Administration Officer. We are in search of an individual with a keen analytical mindset and a passion for enhancing data processes to join our dynamic Information Management Team. Operating under general guidance, you will play a pivotal role in devising and spearheading the execution of system and process enhancements. These initiatives are designed to enhance the quality of captured data and rectify existing data discrepancies as needed.

Your Role: Cemetery Administration Officer
As a Cemetery Administration Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient and compliant records services for the Council. Your responsibilities include collating, recording, and capturing cemetery-related records while ensuring compliance with industry standards and legislation. Additionally, you'll be actively involved in driving continuous improvement initiatives, providing training, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure records management compliance by accurately collating, recording, and analysing information.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of a future-ready, agile team.
Provide excellent customer service, reflecting responsiveness and high-quality follow-up.
Demonstrate commitment to safety, health, and wellbeing in the workplace.
