What this opportunity involves.
Join JLL managing a popular sub-regional shopping centre based 30km's southwest of Sydney offering a variety of familiar retailers, supermarkets, fashion, fresh food precinct and dining options.
This will be a highly attractive role for the successful candidate as you will be working with an innovative client who is truly invested in the sustainability and growth of the asset.
Your focus in this role is to provide a high level of service to the client, maximising the return of investment for the centre, tenant retention, and minimising risk by leading and developing our onsite team.
Other key responsibilities include;
Complying with all Acts of Legislation
Meeting appropriate deadlines imposed by the client and our Account Director
Having a thorough understanding and appreciation for the local market environment, including competition, development proposals and infrastructure
Preparing annual budget, business plan, marketing plan, and monthly reports
Administering the leases ensuring that correct charges are raised, reviews are done on time, turnover figures collected, turnover rental charged, outgoing reconciliation's completed, and confirming that all parties adhere to the conditions of the lease
Ensuring vacancies are advertised effectively
Actively seek out new tenants to fill vacancies
Liaising continually with leasing operatives
Monitoring tenancy mix to ensure optimum rentals are achieved

To be successful, you'll have superior communication skills (written and verbal) and be a retail property professional with proven success in Centre Management. Your focus has been both strategic and operational, spanning all aspects of shopping centres.
Teamwork is a vital aspect of our brand, and we'll expect you to value this as well. It is important that you have leadership qualities to manage and develop staff.
Furthermore, you have proven experience overseeing finance, budgeting, operations, contractor management, leasing, and marketing with a tenacious attitude, determined to accomplish only the very best outcomes.
A real estate licence is required.
