We are in search of a Centre Director for a medium size service as the current Centre Director has been promoted into an area manager position. The service is doing well with occupancy as well as with staff ratio. The lucky Centre Director will get to work collaboratively with the well respected operations manager as well as the area manager, who are friendly and supportive.
You will help to mentor and support staff on team morale and work with the pedagogical leader in assisting with best practice and providing engaging fun programs that supports growth in the interest of the little learners.
For your dedicated efforts, you will be rewarded with a generous salary and a monthly RDO, along with other incentives! This is a full time role located in the near Fawkner area.
Skills and Experience
- MUST have worked in an early childhood service or preschool within Australia.
- Experience as a Centre Manager
- Or, a minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant Director.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to inspire and mentor a team
- Ability to assist with mentoring the kindergarten and below 3's program
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQF
- Understanding of the application toward age-appropriate program planning
- A professional and empathetic approach toward families
- Ability to work collaboratively with co-educators
- Bachelor of Early Childhood / Diploma of Children Services or equivalent qualification - MUST be approved by ACECQA
- Current First aid
- Current Anaphylaxis
- Current Asthma qualifications
- Current VIT / WWCC
