Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Centre Manager/Customer Service Manager to join our team at JAGA Workspaces in Canberra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workspace facility while ensuring exceptional Customer Service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee the overall operations of the workspace facility, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for services such as cleaning, maintenance, and security.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all clients, visitors, and tenants.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and motivate a team of Customer Service Representatives and support personnel.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Assist in sales and marketing efforts to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Conduct tours of the facility for potential members and provide information about available services and amenities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the centre's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor revenue streams, including rental income, service fees, and ancillary revenue.
- Implement cost-saving measures and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in operations management, Customer Service, or facility management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate or workspace management (an advantage).
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
