We currently have an excellent opportunity for an initiative-taking individual to undertake a part time Traineeship in Certificate III Business- Medical Administration, training in a dental clinic that provides clients with a comfortable experience from the moment they walk in the door.
The Role:
- Greeting patients and checking them in for appointments
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Verifying patients' insurance coverage and updating insurance information
- Collecting payments and processing insurance claims
- Managing patient records and medical history
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation of reception area
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Assisting in administrative tasks
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to improve office efficiency and patient care
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the dental office
- Providing information to patients about dental procedures and treatment plans
About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing individual to join our small team as a dental receptionist. The ideal candidate will possess a warm and welcoming demeanour, with a natural ability to put patients at ease. They should have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for success in this role.
