EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED FULL-TIME MEDICAL RECEPTION / ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONAL

We are in search of a skilled experienced Medical Receptionist to join our lovely admin team and play a vital role in the success of our well-established cardiology practice. Stationed at the front desk of a busy clinic, you will serve as the initial point of contact for patients, necessitating outstanding patient service and administrative assistance to our team of cardiologists on a full-time basis.

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, and since you'll be working alongside a small team, we value someone who is willing to adapt to various duties and provide support to the wider team as needed.  Depending on the day of the week, the position will require either collaborative work with a team member or independent work.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute general administration tasks using Gentu software, including booking appointments, invoicing, maintaining schedules, and preparing patient documentation.
• Answering phones promptly and greeting patients in a professional manner.
• Sending out reports and Medicare claiming.
• Processing referrals and creating new patients and referring doctors database.
• Supporting the doctors on clinic days and making sure all results are in patient files.
• Booking in procedures and tests as per doctors requests.
• Support the seamless day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Ensure the highest standard of patient service delivery.

What You Offer:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical reception/administration role.
• Proficiency in using Gentu software or similar medical management systems.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Strong administration skills, ability to multitask and highly organised.
• Dedication to delivering high-quality customer service, with excellent telephone etiquette and communication abilities
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
