About the Role
The Change and Adoption Lead will be responsible for the development and implementation of a high-quality change program which specifically targets the impact these changes will have on people.
The Change and Adoption Lead will deliver the effective implementation of the change program across the College which will involve the development of a change strategy and change management plans that integrate into the overall project and operational plans. The role will subsequently involve the execution of these plans and activities to reinforce the acceptance of changes across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities
- The development of an IT change strategy which is consistent with the values, cultures and behaviours of RACP and which defines the scope, governance, key success factors, measures, risks and deliverables in project or operational objectives.
- The development of a change impact assessment on stakeholders and employees.
- The development and execution of change management strategies including training of relevant employees and identification of suitable tools for various projects or operational changes.
- The Development and implementation of change management plans e.g. a training plan
- The definition and completion of Business Readiness and Business Acceptance Assessments.
- Engaging and educating key stakeholders in understanding the changes and their role in supporting the implementation of change.
Essential Attributes
- 5 years’ experience working in a project environment
- 5 years’ experience as a Change Manager
- Comprehensive and detailed understanding of change management strategies and tools
- Experience working in complex business environments
- Experience in packaged software implementations
- Experience on business transformation/re-engineering projects
- Experience in leading & mentoring others in the change to new processes and systems
