About This Opportunity

The Change and Engagement Coordinator will assist with delivering the Cyber Security Culture Change Program initiatives to uplift the cyber safety capability predominantly for students, but also staff, across the University.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively collaborate with areas across the University to identify opportunities to gain support and generate enthusiasm for uplifting the cyber security culture within their areas.
  • Create (write, edit and graphic design) and deliver cyber security awareness campaigns, organise events, workshops, seminars, webinars, and training sessions, and develop/maintain the cyber security and associated websites.
  • Assist with managing and expanding the cyber champions' network.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining program documentation, plans and reports, ensuring standards and requirements are met throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Complete general administration, including taking minutes.
  • Other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor.

Please note this role may involve occasional evening and weekend work.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated, Change and Engagement Coordinator with an interest in cyber security to assist with delivering the Cyber Security Culture Change Program initiatives to uplift the cyber safety capability for students and staff across the University.

Essential:

  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in change management, marketing, communications, or a relevant discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to liaise and consult with diverse and senior level stakeholders across the University, including demonstrated ability to draft presentation materials, project documentation and reports.
  • High level computer skills and ability to demonstrate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign.
  • Great attention to detail, planning and time management skills with an ability to take initiative, but also to work co-operatively and collaboratively.
  • An interest in cyber security.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the higher education sector.
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience in marketing or graphic design
  • Experience in the Drupal website Content Management System

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
