We are seeking a skilled and proactive Change Manager to join a prestigious governmental department in a significant financial reform initiative. This role is pivotal in Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies, tools and plans to enable the success of both the program, projects and other strategic initiatives and initiate, influence, and maintain effective relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risks, and address complex issues to support change.The successful candidate will be integral to the Change Management team, supporting and leading activities critical to the adoption of the new system. This involves detailed stakeholder engagement, overseeing change impact analyses, and implementing change strategies to ensure smooth and efficient transitions.Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Change Management Lead to drive the adoption of new processes and systems.
- Manage and lead structured change management methodology and frameworks to develop a customised and scaled approach for managing the impact of transformational organisational change for key whole of organisation programs, projects or initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies that will drive and support organisations adoption and proficiency with changes that impact employees across all levels.
- Support the business to be ready to accept the change, utilise new capability, and ensure the successful delivery and embedding of this change into the business.
- Manage both dependencies ad interfaces between projects and manage change risks across the program.
- Risk and impact assessment: Assess the potential impact of technology changes on various business functions, processes, and employees. Formulate an approach to identify and mitigate risks, resistance, and barriers to adoption through effective change management practices.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership change management role in a program/project environment utilising a diverse range of contemporary change management methodology.
- Experience working on a large ERP program in a change management role, including organisational design, process improvement, job design, system changes, training and communications.
- Lead program and projects to achieve change program and project outcomes.
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to apply an enterprise lens.
- Previous experience in a senior lead Program/Project change management role
- Demonstrated experience in whole of organisation transformational change (technology/digital)
- Experience in developing change management artefacts eg. Change management plans change impact assessments stakeholder impact analysis and engagement plans, sustainability plans business readiness plans and communications and training plans.
- Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholders.
- Experience executing change management plans, planning and the delivery of both internal and external engagement and change and communication campaigns.
