This role of Industrial Channel Manager for Heatleys is a specialist position providing leadership and oversight of our Industrial product and market segment.
In this capacity your primary objective is to lead the category as the industrial product specialist, to grow the industrial channel, to work closely with suppliers, support sales team programs, support the tender processes, and work closely with marketing on the development of the industrial channel.
Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders is integral, contributing to the overarching goal of Revenue Growth and Channel development. Performance Monitoring with suppliers, KPIs, and sell-through of products, including the management of obsolete inventory, plays a crucial role.

What you’ll be doing:
- Channel Development: Implementing strategies aligned with Heatleys overall business objectives to develop and grow our Industrial segment.
- Product Specialist: Provide product and category expertise, training, and support to internal stakeholders to enhance their understanding of the assigned industrial categories and enable effective sales efforts.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivating strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success. Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers that can provide high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Sales Support: Work closely with pricing analysts and sales teams to establish competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability while considering market dynamics and customer expectations.
- Pricing Strategy: Strategically managing pricing to support demand and meet customer needs, handling RFQs and tenders.
- Performance Monitoring: Implementing robust systems for monitoring supplier performance, KPIs, and product sell-through, addressing obsolete inventory effectively.
- Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with marketing department to develop effective promotional plans, including product launches, advertising campaigns, and sales promotions, to drive product awareness and demand.
- Revenue Growth: Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand Heatleys' reach, fostering growth through both existing and new customer channels.
