What You Can Expect - The Opportunity 

This exciting new role’s primary function is to execute the National Sales Channel Partner Strategy at a regional level, delivering sales and profitability in line with the agreed targets. This is not a traditional Account Manager role.

The Channel Partner Account Manager is responsible for developing ethical and commercially sustainable partnerships with Draeger’s nominated strategic Channel Partners. The challenge is to grow sales of Draeger products in specific markets via Channel Partners rather than direct to end users.

This role will involve travel in your region so if you are keen on forging a new path as part of a dynamic team, passionate about sales and enjoy meeting new people and building relationships, this role is for you. 

Responsibilities will include:

·       Applying the National Sales Channel Partnership Strategy at a regional level

·       Working in close collaboration with the Key Account Management teams

·       Establishing and maintaining a joint customer call plan in conjunction with Channel partner sales representatives

·       Maintaining new business pipeline, identifying new paths to market and, into growth customer segments

·       Increasing end-user knowledge and awareness of Draeger’s products and services to facilitate sales growth via Channel Partners

·       Consistently establishing and maintaining contact with end users, ensuring post-sale loyalty

·       Improving operational performance by increasing partner stock holding and supporting accurate sales forecasting

·       Coordinate the delivery of product insight and training sessions across existing Channel Partners.

What are we looking for?

You will need to be adaptable, enjoy working on your own and in a team environment, be solutions focused, with a sales focused mindset 

Skills and experience will include:

·       Tertiary Qualifications in a related discipline from an accredited university is preferred

·       Possess and maintain a current relevant driving licence

·       Experience in account and portfolio management

·       Experience in business partnership management

·       Developed knowledge of sales processes and techniques

·       Demonstrated experience in negotiation, facilitation, identifying customer needs and buying signals

·       Ability to demonstrate competitive features, benefits, and price analysis information and prepare quotes for customers

·       First rate communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport and establish relationships quickly.
