Position: Chapter Lead Product Owner
Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Sydney (Hybrid Working)
Package: $160k - $180k per year (including super)
We are actively seeking a dynamic Lead Product Owner for our esteemed client based in Sydney. Joining their Continuous Improvement Tribe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the professional landscape of Product Ownership.
Role Overview: As the Chapter Lead Product Owner, you will be instrumental in aligning the Tribe Backlog with our client's organizational mission. Your focus will drive incremental improvements, instill agility, and significantly contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development of Product Owner capability standards.
- Craft and manage the product vision and strategy based on evolving customer needs.
- Prioritize backlog items strategically, emphasizing customer value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize system capabilities and efficiency.
- Foster collaboration practices across business lines and tribes.
- Act as a Practitioner Product Owner to strengthen the capacity of the Product Owner team.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a Product Owner in agile environments.
- Tertiary qualification with recognized certifications in Product Ownership.
- Possess a customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate business acumen through prioritization and product roadmap planning.
- Advocate for positive change with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership experience is a must-have.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated leadership within cross-functional teams.
- Previous roles as a Scrum Master or Customer Experience practitioner are advantageous.
