We're on the hunt for a Chef that knows how to take control of a kitchen. This unique, medium size Aged Care facility located in the heart of Brisbane, is looking for a new full-time Chef with drive and motivation to lead the kitchen and take resident meals to a new height.
As the Head Chef, you will lead a dynamic kitchen team, crafting exceptional meals and creating memorable dining experiences for our residents and clients.
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in Aged Care or a similar health care setting
Strong leadership skills
Understanding of waste management in a busy kitchen
Can independently operate a kitchen for all meals
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and prepare a variety of nutritious and appetizing meals, catering to the dietary requirements of the residents
Maintain a high standard of food safety in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
Manage kitchen staff
Oversee appropriate ordering of supplies and ingredients
Create an inspiring menu for residents to not just eat, but enjoy
