Our menu features elegant modern Australian cuisine, influenced by our French heritage. About the Role
We are creating an opportunity for a Chef or a Cook to join our team at Cognoscenti. If you are passionate about high quality food, have a positive attitude, and looking to fine-tune your skills towards fine dining, we would love to hear from you! The successful applicant will be part of a vibrant and fun team in a thriving restaurant.
Key Duties
- Assist with organising & preparing food
- Prepare food items in accordance with menu requirements using standard recipes and production methods
- Assist food production and service
- Ensure smooth work flow
- Clean and maintain kitchen
About you

- qualified chef or cook- apprentice is fine too
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive & professional manner
- Physically fit and reliable
- Team player & able to work autonomously
- Passion and creativity for great food
- The ability to take direction and a keen learner
- no ego- we are a small team and everyone is on the same level
- The successful applicant will be provided with full training and ongoing support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.
