About the Role:
In the role of Chef De Partie, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the kitchen brigade. Responsibilities include meticulous preparation, execution, and presentation of dishes under the guidance of the Head Chef. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to culinary excellence while immersing in the vibrant cultural tapestry of Thursday Island.
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role
- Demonstrated proficiency in culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation is essential
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment are paramount
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety are prerequisites
