Under the guide of Executive Chef, you will deliver simple, yet delicious dishes that showcase your skills and experience as a professional chef. Enjoy flexibility and variety, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner as required.
Your day to day…
As Chef de Partie your key responsibilities will include:
- Food preparation - prepare menu items for the Harbourside Bar and Kitchen and Events at the hotel.
- Teamwork - work closely with a small but dedicated kitchen team.
- Quality - maintain high standards of food preparation, consistency, and presentation.
- Cost control - work in a highly productive manner minimising waste where possible.
- Cleanliness - maintain a high standard for kitchen and equipment cleanliness.
- Health and safety - maintain high standards of health and safety.
A bit about you…
- Proven experience as Chef de Partie.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, local ingredients and international cuisines.
- Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Constructive and adaptive communication skills.
- Confident managing others and working independently.
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Appropriate Commercial Cookery qualification.
- Knowledge of local food safety regulations.
- Australian citizen with full work-rights.
