Rate: $27.00 - $29.66 Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent position. The Chef de Partie role offers variety, and is vital in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our property. This role requires a can-do attitude, great people skills and the ability to work within a diverse team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities The Chef de Partie role will involve: Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service in our Savvy Restaurant and Bar. Assist in menu designing and planning.
Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals. Ensuring all food is served and stored at the correct temperatures and meets Hotel standards. Cleaning and sanitzing work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
Storing food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Actively contribute to controlling cost and improving restaurant profitability. Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard concerns Assisting with any other kitchen duties as required by the Head Chef.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required The successful candidate will require: 3-5 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment 1-2 years experience in a similar role (Desired) Food Handling Certificate preferred. Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing) Why
