Mt Duneed Estate prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique dining experience within the unique setting of a winery, restaurant and events venue.
We require an experienced and professional Chef de Partie for our busy restaurant kitchen team. Our restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday for lunch service. Along with The Barrel Hall restaurant, we are busy executing weddings, private dinners, local and international concerts and much more.
The right candidate will need to be able to deliver the following:-
- Passion for preparing and cooking high quality food for functions and events.
- A 'can do' attitude in relation to providing a positive and hard-working environment.
- The ability to work unattended, follow instruction and be a strong team player.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Ability to work with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, kitchen team and FOH staff to produce and implement the daily requirements.
- Must be available weekends and some evenings.
- Ensure kitchen, food preparation and storage areas are maintained as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers and customers where required.
