Restaurant Manager

Full time position. Range $60,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation
Nestled in the rolling hills of Warrandyte, Victoria, Pietro Gallus Estate proudly celebrates the sweet life through the creation of fresh produce, extraordinary dishes, estate wines, grappa and liqueurs. The estate houses our award-winning Olivigna restaurant which celebrates modern-Italian cuisine, enjoyed with friends and family.
We pride ourselves on quality cuisine, warm service and the uniqueness of our setting. Olivigna provides everything from alfresco dining to chic weddings to weekend cooking master-classes. You will be a key part of a growing business that aims to become a major hospitality destination in the region.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The right candidates will be team orientated, demonstrate a hands-on approach to customer service, and provide quality, effective, operational leadership to the team.
At least a relevant Diploma qualification plus two years full time post-qualification in the relevant position OR at least 3 years of experience in the relevant position. Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager is required, as is the ability to lead by example, develop and support team members, and build and maintain a productive, respectful and fun working environment and culture.
The role requires someone:
• with experience in a similar role in a fast paced a la carte environment dedicated to excellent customer service
• to provide effective operational leadership to achieve agreed revenue and business objectives
• to ensure service standards are met and high levels of customer satisfaction delivered
• proven ability to recruit, train, lead, manage and inspire a team
• knowledge in weekly rostering and ordering
• high standard in quality control, hygiene and health and safety
• required to be up to date on current industry trends surrounding the Food & Beverage, Hospitality, and Food Industries
• ability to stay calm under pressure with a desire and a determination to succeed in the hospitality industry
• work alongside your team and motivate them to deliver the best results
It is a full-time position, working 5 days per week (including weekends) with two consecutive days off. $60,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation depending on skills and experience.
