Join our friendly team as a Chef at Mountain Ridge Wines, a boutique winery on the Shoalhaven Coast in NSW.
Working Wednesday to Sunday with day time hours and no SPLIT SHIFTS, this position allows you the flexibility to truly achieve work life balance.
Mountain Ridge is open Wednesday to Sunday, catering for lunch and wine tasting daily and weekend breakfast. Our team deliver a paddock to plate seasonal menu and grow and source produce locally, including from our own working farm.
We are seeking a talented chef who can assist our existing chefs to create a restaurant experience that matches the beautiful location. We focus on healthy fresh food in a sustainable environment.
Your professionalism and experience will be required for
- Preparing high quality food under the guidance of the head chef
- Input in the design and costing of seasonal menus
- Deputise for the head chef
- Coordinate with front of house team to maintain excellent customer experiences
- Fostering a friendly team environment
- Maintain day to day kitchen operations
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a Chef role
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Availability to work weekends
- An interest in menu design and costing
- A good knowledge of WHS & Food Safety principles
- A hands-on approach
