Warracknabeal campus is one of three campuses and provides a comprehensive range of acute, urgent, aged care, and a wide range of community health and allied services. Warracknabeal campus is located in the heart of Warracknabeal at 18 Dimboola Road Warracknabeal, halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Latitude Recruitment is seeking a passionate Chef in Charge on behalf of Rural Northwest Health. This hands-on role will ensure all food production and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and allocation of team members to duties to meet menu requirements and operational needs.

This is a Full time position based at the Warracknabeal Campus.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety Practices, HACCP and OHS
• Two to three years’ experience working as a Chef (experience working in Aged Care and/or Health Care setting is highly desirable)
• Sound time management skills
• COVID19/Flu vaccination evidence
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
• Current and valid Police Clearance
• Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one
