Job Description:
Are you a versatile and creative culinary enthusiast with a flair for cooking up culinary wonders? Join our team as a Chef or Kitchen All-Rounder and help us shape a unique and enticing menu that caters to the diverse tastes of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to develop and refine a creative menu that includes breakfast and lunch items.
- Prepare and present dishes with attention to detail and culinary artistry.
- Assist in sourcing fresh, seasonal, and locally-sourced ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Adapt to kitchen demands by assisting in various roles, including prep, cooking, stock management and ordering.
- Contribute to a positive kitchen culture focused on innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen role is mandatory, but we welcome talented newcomers with a passion for cooking.
- A creative mindset with the ability to design and refine menu items.
- Strong culinary skills and a keen eye for presentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining quality.
- Enthusiasm for exploring new ingredients and cooking techniques.
