Our client seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to manage the Finance and IT department of a growing business with international operations. Client DetailsOur client is a prominent international manufacturing group Based in Thomastown in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. They are recognised for their market leading products, operational excellence, and strategic financial management. The firm prides itself on a collaborative culture that emphasises integrity and accountability in its financial operations, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.DescriptionDirect the global Finance and IT functions according to Group policies, managing a team of 18 people.Actively participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.Lead the year-end closure processes, including consolidated group reporting, statutory compliance, and tax reporting.Serve as the audit owner, ensuring integrity and compliance in all auditing activities.Prepare and manage the balance sheet, cash flow, and profit & loss statements, with detailed forecasting and variance reporting.Oversee banking, insurance, and fulfil Director-level responsibilities, ensuring financial stability and compliance.Ensure the delivery of month-end closing and other reporting duties align with Group requirements.Perform product costing analysis and support pricing strategies to enhance profitability.ProfileBe a strategic financial leader with extensive experience in financial control and manufacturing operations, and have:Ability to provide commercial business partnering to department headsA strong track record in year-end financial processes and audit ownership.Expertise in managing financial statements, forecasting, and reporting.Experience overseeing banking, insurance, and Director-level duties.Proven leadership in managing Finance and IT teams.Demonstrated skill in contributing to senior leadership teams and strategic projects.Job OfferThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the financial direction of a leading international manufacturer, with competitive remuneration reflecting the importance of the role.
