This position of Acting Chief Operating Officer is short term for a period of six months from 1 August 2024.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Acting Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the management and performance of clinical operations’ access to services and service delivery; and performance targets across the health service.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader, with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills coupled with extensive experience gained in clinical operations and healthcare management.
The appointment will be for a period of six (6) months.
We would love to hear from you if you have:- Previous leadership experience in a complex, large scale health care institution, including a demonstrable track record of leading large scale change and/or transformation.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills, with capability to lead and convince others in defining and addressing complex and sensitive issues.
- A strong track record of delivering outcomes and driving innovation at a senior level with a pro-active approach to fostering multidisciplinary teamwork and cooperation.
- Demonstrated capacity to be an effective leader and member of the Executive team, stimulate constructive debate and support colleagues to achieve organisational objectives.
- Demonstrated business and financial management competence.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of processes and service delivery to stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in a health or management related field.
