ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE
Our client is a highly successful hospitality provider who have an excellent track record of achieving significant growth within the Australian market. As the business continues to grow, the opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead and execute all aspects of operations for the business and their brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Ensure systems for operational compliance, auditing and reporting are of industry best practice and implemented across all brands;
Oversee the business, operations, and facilities ensuring brand standards of quality and service are delivered;
Ensure industry best practice of people development to meet bench depth targets;
Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and national laws and have all the required documentation and paperwork;
Ensure the successful execution of all marketing strategies;
Make effective judgments, considering alternative courses of action, and take responsibility for devising plans to resolve problems.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
Possess at least 3 years of multi-unit management experience, preferably in a large-scale restaurant/venue group;
Have experience in finance, marketing and human resources areas of restaurant business is highly desirable;
Be willing and able to travel between 1 to 2 times per month;
Be able to execute plans and take action with an analytical approach;
Have robust communication and interpersonal skills;
Be able to negotiate outcomes, enlist cooperation, consult, and resolve conflict;
Possess high-level leadership skills with the proven ability to collaborate with peers, build a positive team culture, align teams with organisational values and goals;
