Key Assets Australia, a national, reputable non-government, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering positive outcomes for children, families, and communities, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO). Established in 2007, Key Assets Australia has been a trailblazer in providing essential services for children, families, and communities across Australia and Norfolk Island. These services include fostering, intensive family support, early intervention and prevention, and disability.
The Role:
As the COO, you will be a pivotal member of the Executive team, providing a critical role in leading and overseeing the operational aspects of Key Assets Australia. The COO will work closely with the Chief Executive, Board, and other senior leaders to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of programs and services that align with the organisation's strategic objectives and provide strategic direction to enable the organisation to grow sustainably.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an energetic, strategic and commercially astute operational leader with a proven track record in a similar-sized organization and role. Key attributes and experience include:
- Proven experience in a COO or equivalent senior leadership role
- Prior experience within the non-profit sector, preferably in children, family, or community services.
- Proven experience working in a statutory environment, preferably at the senior executive level.
- Strong understanding of program management, financial oversight, and quality assurance.
- Exceptional communication skills with an inclusive leadership style, laying foundations for the future and delivering value.
- Values-based leadership, promoting a positive culture, and building trust.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
