About - Ipswich Intake Assessment and Service Connect:
Are you an energetic, enthusiastic person who wants to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to positive change for families? Do you have superior communication and problem-solving abilities, along with skills in navigating complex situations? Do you enjoy working in a positive and innovative team that collectively works towards shared outcomes?
If yes, then Ipswich Intake, Assessment and Service Connect (IIASC) is the place for you.
Employment at IIASC offers you a unique opportunity to keep children safe in their family homes, first and foremost. We are a diverse work group, fostering an inclusive culture. We are fortunate to work on the land of our Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians, the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul peoples with families from across the Ipswich, Lockyer Valley and Somerset communities. We regularly work alongside our key partners including QPS, QH, Education and DVAC, responding to families, often in their greatest time of need. Our partners enjoy working with the IIASC team, so much so that they spend one day a week in our office and attend our office activities.
Our long-standing staff want you to know that IIASC is the place to be. It is rewarding work; no day is the same and we embrace a culture of shared decision making. We take time as an office to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate our staff, their successes, key dates, years of service and office wellbeing activities. We also have a well-established and approachable leadership team who go above and beyond to support their staff. You will experience regular and live supervision, mentoring, as well as being supported to work towards continuous growth and career progression opportunities.
Ipswich is the fastest-growing region in the state with planning underway for significantly increased infrastructure to accommodate the forecasted growth in the area. So, if you are wanting to work in one of the oldest provincial cities in Queensland, renowned for it's architectural, natural and cultural heritage, don't hesitate, now is the time to join the IIASC team!
