Childcare Chef/Cook

We are looking for a cook, or chef, or an Educator who loves to cook and provide healthy home cooked meals to children to join our team!

The main aim of the role is to prepare, and deliver meals to our children of a high quality, and to maintain a healthy and clean environment.

We provide home cooked meals to all our children for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea all cooked fresh on site in our kitchen. So if you have a love of food, have a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, and want to work in an environment with a company that supports it's staff, then look no further as we have the role for you.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment,
• A love of preparing and serving nutritious meals from our menu designed by our in house nutritionist,
• Knowledge of, or willing to learn the developmental and nutritional needs of children and infants,
• Holds a food safety supervisor qualification or willing to obtain supported by us,
• Ability to role model and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all children and Educators that aligns with our policy and procedure when working in the kitchen,
• Holds a current working with children check,
• Ability to maintain, and order stock, or be willing to learn how to use our easy online systems.
