Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. For more information on Centurion visit www.centurionmine.com.auReporting to the General Manager, your key objective will be to establish and maintain the CHPP and associated supporting activities onsite. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Oversight and accountability to refurbish/upgrade plant to suit our underground processes with KPI to increase capacity
- Provide direct supervision to the CHPP Superintendent, Coordinators and associated contractors
- Ensures that the CHPP planning process is developed, implemented and subjected to Continuous Improvement so that all activities are planned and scheduled. The planning process shall cover several different periodic levels
- Ensures the Maintenance Management Plan (MMP) is implemented
- Ensures the implementation into the Operations Department of the relevant portions of the Safety Health Management Plan (SHMP), including the Statutory required areas
- Provides requirements of inspections, timings, actions, qualifications and skills for SOPs, standards and inspection regimes to the Compliance Superintendent.
- Extensive operational knowledge/experience from within a CHPP
- Sound leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong planning and reporting experience
- Continuous Improvement methodologies know how
- High attention to safety culture, knowledge of conducting safety and compliance audits, inspections and Risk assessments.
- Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Trades qualification or Engineering degree
- S1, S2, S3 Supervisory competences
