Job description

With a focus and commitment to continually increase our internal capability and in alignment with the Newcastle 2040 Community Strategic Plan, an opportunity exists for a City Significant Development Section Manager to join our evolving Planning, Transport and Regulation (PTR) team. This is a leadership role, and we are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join the team.

Reporting directly to the City Significant & Strategic Planning Manager you will lead, supervise, and coordinate, our City Significant Development Team to achieve development assessment targets and commitments whilst delivering high-quality-built outcomes and efficient determinations for large, complex, regionally and State Significant Development proposals.

In accordance with CN's CX Strategy and TRUST Principles you will guide the team to deliver high-quality customer service ensuring positive and successful outcomes through case management and assessment of large, complex, and regionally Significant Development proposals.
