Job description

Following recente wins on offshore wind, we are looking to expand our geotechnical engineering team at the UK. We have partnered with Airswift to support our recruitment plans in 2024. Our current portfolio of projects of projects includes several offshore windfarms which, together, have the potential to power a third of the UK\u2019s households.
We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the energy markets, with the offshore wind experience and excellent technical skills and extensive experience in Offshore Wind geotechnics covering site investigation and characterisation, ground risk management, foundation design, soil-structure interaction and foundation installation.

    Profile<\/strong><\/div>

    • A degree in Civil Engineering or Geology with a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject<\/li>\t
    • Working towards chartered status as either Civil Engineer or Geologist<\/li>\t
    • Experience in Offshore Geotechnics \/ Geotechnical design, including in areas of seismic activity<\/li>\t
    • Experience and understanding of the needs and approaches to the engineering consultancy and design markets, including relationships with clients, work planning and commercial management<\/li>\t
    • Application of CDM Regulations in a design and ground investigation environment<\/li>\t
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well within the geotechnical design teams<\/li>\t
    • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work<\/li>\t
    • A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas<\/li><\/ul>
