The client's in-house design team supports renewable power and battery storage projects across Australia. With a robust pipeline of work spanning 3-4 years, current projects include transmission lines, substations, solar farms, battery storage facilities, and wind farms. The Role
Job Title:Civil Engineer
Location: Perth, WA
Reports To: Lead Engineer
Reason for Opening: Team growth due to project pipeline

As a Civil Engineer, you will assist the Lead Engineer in designing and analysing Civil Engineering projects, including site development and drainage systems. Your responsibilities will encompass managing detailed engineering design packages, specifying and providing technical input to design bases, reviewing and drafting technical reports, and establishing and updating technical design standards and procedures. Additionally, you will provide technical support to construction teams, manage design changes and optimisation, and conduct quality checks on design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Proven experience in Civil Engineering design and analysis, particularly in site development and drainage systems.
• Experience in managing detailed engineering design packages.
• Strong skills in specifying technical inputs and reviewing/drafting technical reports.
• Ability to establish and update technical design standards and procedures.
• Technical support expertise for construction teams regarding procurement and queries.
• Experience in managing design changes and optimisations.
• Attention to detail for conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid Australian working visa.
